Who We Are

Deliciously Plump Bakes and Cakes was founded with a passion for traditional baking created from the quality time I used to spend with my parents, grandparents and family friends who encouraged my talent over the years.

We are based in Slough, Berkshire but can post certain bakes across the UK. Please enquire around costs and goods that will travel well. 

I have always had a curious mind and have constantly strived to keep tradition as well as occasionally adding a new modern twist.

We create pure, simple, and delicious home baked goods that evoke the warmth and nostalgia of homemade treats from days gone by.

As the founder I have always had a passion for cooking and baking. I spent a period of time working for a well known chocolate factory where I was verified as a super taster, meaning I was fortunate enough to be born with additional taste buds, this means that if what I bake doesn't pass my taste test, it does not go out to my customers. 

Fully certificated with a food hygiene level 3 certificate, allergen control and food control standards as well as 30 years of baking experience.

Our commitment to quality ensures that every bite of  is made with the utmost care and wherever possible ingredients will be sourced locally or with minimal carbon emissions. As well as being committed and genuinely enjoying nostalgic bakes I also want to protect our Whales and Orangutangs, You will never find any Palm Oil in my bakes. 

We can cater for vegans, vegetarians as well as coeliacs and those with particular allergies and have a very strict allergen control regime.
